Since 2014, Ms. Zhu has nearly 10 years of legal experiences in leading foreign firms and red circle firms. She has represented first-tier institutional investors, industry investors, private companies and global companies, including Hillhouse, Baidu, Meituan, Henry Schein, OCBC Bank, Dangdang, V Fund, HM Capital, Cinda Assets, Starquest Capital, Fidelity Capital, Hitachi, UPS and Sincere Group , as lead counsel and advised them in connection with their acquisition, investment, restructuring, spin-off, exit of equity and/or assets investment in hundreds of companies together with their daily general corporate affairs. Moreover, she has extensive experience in healthcare & pharmaceutical, artificial intelligence, TMT, consumer goods and other industries, with nearly 10 years of experience in serving foreign clients.

In the areas of private equity investment and post-investment matters, Ms. Zhu has represented first-tier institutional and industry investors with their minority equity investments in nearly a hundred companies (covering early age, mid-term and Pre-IPO investment as well as dozens of US dollar financing projects) and advised on their post-investment matters with respect to dozens of target companies, including subsequent financing, listing and exit of the target companies (covering the specific practices and implementation of shareholders' exit or compensation rights such as anti-dilution right, redemption right and liquidation preference right).

In the areas of M&A and joint venture transactions, Ms. Zhu represented Baidu in the development of intelligent parking or intelligent city projects and the establishment of related operating joint ventures in over ten cities, as well as divestiture, spin-off, acquisition and restructuring of its assets in several business lines; she also represented Henry Schein in the acquisitions and potential acquisitions of controlling shares in nearly 10 Chinese medical dental device distributors and manufacturers, and in establishing and operating sino-foreign equity joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises in multiple cities.

In the area of offshore capital markets, Ms. Zhu has assisted with the listing of Wharf Real Estate Investment Company Limited, New Century Healthcare Holding Co. Limited, 1957 & Co. (Hospitality) Limited on the Main Board or Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and advised the United Laboratories International Holdings Limited on the U.S. Convertible Bonds Offering in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Before joining the TsingLaw, Ms. Zhu worked at Haiwen & Partners in its Beijing Office as Senior Counsel. Prior to that, Ms. Zhu worked at Jingtian & Gongcheng in its Beijing Office and Morrison & Foerster LLP in its Beijing Representative Office.

Education
Ms. Zhu Kan received both of her bachelor's degree in law and master's degree in law (economic law) from Peking University Law School. During her undergraduate studies, she completed a series of double-degree courses in economics at the National School of Development at Peking University and received a bachelor's degree in economics.
