Ms. MA, with 15 years in the patent field, has honed her extensive IP expertise through roles at the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), patent agencies, and innovation-driven multinational corporations.
She has provided services across a broad spectrum of technology sectors such as synthetic biology, surgical robotics, AI healthcare technologies, 5G communication base station, water-based ink technologies, powder materials, and medical device industries. She swiftly grasps technology and expertly fuses commercial and legal IP perspectives, adeptly devising IP strategies for tech innovators, efficiently integrating IP assets, and customizing ideal solutions.
Her services encompass general IP advice, FTO, IP due diligence for investors, operation-and rights protection-oriented patent portfolio mining, worldwide patent strategy, complex patent office action， invalidation, public opinion, patent ownership negotiations, and a suite of IP-related services. Ms. MA, a former WIPO Examiner, is well-versed in applying IP treaty frameworks like PCT, Hague Design, and Madrid Trademark systems.
Ms. MA has been studied in Japan and worked in Europe, working with the U.S. R&D teams as well as global IP lawyers, specializing in cross-cultural communication to streamline international legal processes.
