Attorney Dingzhong XIONG has made remarkable achievements in the resolution of civil and commercial disputes, especially in handling difficult cases related to company law and anti-unfair competition law. He has experience in handling cases in more than one hundred courts and multiple arbitration institutions nationwide. The typical cases he has handled, such as the “WeRead Case” and the “Pinduoduo Case”, have not only won awards from the court system but have also been featured in special reports by CCTV. In addition, he provides daily compliance legal support services to top companies such as Huawei, OPPO, TikTok, Sina, Ping An, and Guosen Securities.

Attorney Dingzhong XIONG serves as a visiting professor at Tsinghua University, a supervisor for master's students at the University of International Business and Economics, a member of the Network and High-tech Committee of the All China Lawyers Association, a member of the Lawyer Team of the China Consumers Association, a consulting expert for civil affairs at the Supreme People's Procuratorate, a member of the Technology and Big Data Legal Affairs Committee of the Beijing Lawyers Association, an arbitrator at the Beijing Arbitration Commission/Beijing International Arbitration Center, and an executive member of the Computer Law Branch of the China Computer Federation.
Attorney XIONG has been recognized as a representative of the 10th National Lawyers Congress, an outstanding lawyer in Beijing, an outstanding Communist Party member in the legal profession in Beijing, the director of an outstanding law firm in Haidian District, and the first Haidian District leading lawyer.
Academic Achievements
Attorney XIONG participated in the major project of the National Social Science Fund, Research on Personal Data Protection and Data Rights System in the Big Data Era, and the major project of the Supreme Court, Research on Data Rights Protection in the Big Data Era. He also undertook multiple legislative support projects commissioned by the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission of China and the Beijing Cyberspace Administration. He has written the book Corporate Legal Affairs: Positioning, Methods, and Operations, and jointly released the first national blockchain legal white paper with Ping An Financial OneConnect. He participated in the writing of the Privacy Computing White Paper published by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and took the lead in drafting the standard contract for privacy computing.
Education
Attorney XIONG graduated from the Law School of Tsinghua University with a Bachelor of Laws degree and obtained a Master of Laws degree from the University of Passau in Germany.
