Mr. Liu has nearly ten years of experience in advising on international and domestic transactions. He has cumulatively undertaken nearly 400 transaction projects, with a cumulative transaction amount exceeding several billion yuan.
Mr. Liu’s primary practice areas include cross-border investment and mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, banking, and finance.
Mr. Liu has led and represented Chinese enterprises in “Going Global” and the green field investments in “One-Belt and One Road” countries, cross-border mergers and acquisitions (both in form of equity and assets), strategic cooperation and joint ventures with the local partners, foreign direct investment, investment in the domestic unlisted companies by RMB or USD funds, RMB funds investment in the red chip direct shareholding structure or VIE structure through direct investment, convertible notes or otherwise (the place of incorporation of the entity to be listed include, respectively, Cayman Islands, Delaware, California, etc.), and represented many domestic and overseas subsidiaries or branches of many internationally well-known financial institutions, or larger companies in completing dozens of domestic and overseas syndicated loan transactions.
Mr. Liu is committed to providing comprehensive one-stop professional legal services and solutions to state-owned and private enterprises, foreign and domestic financial institutions, private equity and venture capital funds (RMB and USD funds), and entrepreneurial elite talents returning from abroad, and helping clients achieve their business goals.
Over the years, Mr. Liu has earned the trust and recognition of many clients.

Mr. Liu has extensive experience in representing various types and sizes of domestic and foreign enterprises, including C&D Group, King Long, SAIC Motor, SIMIC, CITIC Group, JINMAO, and other large and medium-sized enterprise groups, Focus Media, BGI, Tigermed, Bytedance, JLL, and other headline companies, Export-Import Bank of China, Standard Chartered Bank, Ping An Bank, DBS Bank, Cathay Bank, O-Bank and other domestic and overseas international financial institutions, and Detong Capital, Hengxu Capital, Shangqi Capital, Kaitai Capital, Panlin Capital, Kailongrei Asia Equity Investment Fund, LaSalle Investment, Grand Mount Capital, iCap Equity and other private equity and venture capital funds. Industries involved include, among other things, semiconductors, A.I., internet technology, new energy vehicles, new materials, biomedicine, software, data, beauty markup, real estate, consumption, e-sports, pets, closing, and textiles.

Mr. Liu has represented and completed transactions in countries/regions including but not limited to China, United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, British Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Israel, Sweden, Italy, Mauritius and others.

Before joining TsingLaw, Mr. Liu worked for many years in the International Department of Beijing Jiayuan Law Firm Shanghai Office, and the Cross-border Investment and M&A Department of Beijing DHH (Shanghai) Law Firm.
