Attorney Li has over a decade of legal practice, with a core focus covering full-chain legal services for the cultural and entertainment industry, intellectual property protection, corporate compliance and governance, and cross-border commercial matters, encompassing both litigation and non-litigation experience.
Attorney Li has held legal management roles in a leading cultural and entertainment group across diverse divisions including animated film, live-action film, and theatrical productions. She has been deeply involved in cross-border cooperation, licensing and exploitation of copyrights, and provides comprehensive domestic and foreign legal support throughout content development, production, and distribution. She is adept at negotiating significant transaction documents in complex commercial scenarios and is well-versed in industry-specific regulations. She offers one-stop legal services to enterprises, academic institutions, and creators—ranging from rights portfolio planning and transaction structuring to compliance management and dispute resolution—and also provides general civil legal assistance to individual clients.
Attorney Li commenced her legal practice at Shanghai Debund Law Offices. She previously served as an extern at the Cook County Juvenile Center (Twelfth Division) in Illinois, USA, and received training at the Intellectual Property Law Clinic supervised by K&L Gates LLP in Chicago. She once worked in the legal department of CMC Inc. (including its labels Oriental DreamWorks / Pearl Studio, CMC Pictures, and China Dream Live Entertainment), and also served at Shanghai Century Publishing Group (including its labels Century Wenjing, etc.), gaining substantial industrial practice experience.

Attorney Li’s academic research focuses on cutting-edge issues in entertainment law and copyright. Her scholarly article, How to Protect Orphan Film, was published in 7 Berkeley Journal of Entertainment and Sports Law (2018). She also contributes legal commentary articles to mainstream media such as The Paper, providing professional analysis on topical issues. Attorney Li holds the Performance Agent Qualification Certificate of the People’s Republic of China.

Attorney Li earned her Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws from Fudan University, having studied at both the School of Economics and the School of Law, and was selected for the China Scholarship Exchange Programme at the University of Hong Kong during her undergraduate studies. She received her Master of Laws degree, with a focus on International Intellectual Property Law, from Chicago-Kent College of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology.
