Attorney Zhang Wendong obtained his lawyer’s practicing certificate in October 2019. He boasts comprehensive cross-field practice experience covering mediation, public interest litigation, legal counsel services for government institutions and enterprises, criminal defense, and labor dispute resolution.
He once served as an on-duty legal counsel at the People’s Procuratorate of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Hohhot Letters and Visits Bureau. He was also a full-time pre-litigation labor mediator stationed at Huimin District People’s Court. He handled the first consumer public interest litigation case in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and won the judgment.
He has long acted as perennial legal counsel for a wide range of institutions, including the General Affairs Bureau of the Inner Mongolia Regional Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Inner Mongolia Administration for Market Regulation, Inner Mongolia Institute of Special Equipment Inspection, Inner Mongolia Welfare Lottery Issuance and Management Center, as well as all Dingqi chain kindergartens across Hohhot. He participated in the full-cycle handling of high-profile public opinion disputes such as the Tiandou Tofu quality incident and the needle-pricking incident at Dingqi Kindergarten.
In criminal practice, he has taken on major criminal cases including the underworld-related criminal case of Morigen Group and the illegal occupation of agricultural land case involving a state-owned enterprise in Baiyinhua. In labor rights protection, he has represented batches of employees in labor arbitrations and civil lawsuits against well-known local conglomerates such as Greenland Group, Vitorli Maoye and Minzu Group. He is thoroughly versed in all adjudication rules governing labor disputes in Inner Mongolia, and specializes in efficiently resolving all types of legal disputes via both mediation and litigation.

Formerly a partner at Inner Mongolia Shanheng Law Firm, Attorney Zhang Wendong serves as a public-interest lawyer of the Inner Mongolia Consumer Rights Protection Association.
Education
Attorney Zhang Wendong graduated from Tan Kah Kee College, Xiamen University, majoring in Public Administration, and was awarded a Bachelor of Laws degree.
