Practice Areas and Experience
Attorney Tairan Li focuses his practice on civil and commercial dispute resolution and criminal matters. His clients span a wide range of sectors, including intelligent technology, new energy materials and infrastructure, chip and semiconductor industries, smart logistics, major car rental and mobility service providers, and state-owned asset management institutions. Prior to joining TsingLaw, Mr. Li practiced at the Shenzhen office of Jingtian & Gongcheng.
Mr. Li has represented clients in a number of corporate control disputes involving group companies, as well as a series of financial asset management disputes. He has extensive experience in matters involving corporate governance under complex equity structures, shareholder misconduct, and claims against de facto controllers. In highly contested civil and commercial disputes, often involving multiple related proceedings, Mr. Li is adept at conducting investigations and evidence collection through a multi-dimensional approach. He has also developed substantial practical experience in constructing case facts, conducting strategic negotiations, and navigating contested issues of legal interpretation and application.
In advising corporate clients on commercial disputes, Mr. Li does not confine his analysis to legal issues alone. He also takes into account the client’s business operations, industry environment, commercial objectives, and risk profile, enabling him to develop more balanced and practical solutions.
In the field of criminal defense, Mr. Li focuses on defending senior executives and key technical personnel in duty-related criminal cases. He pays close attention to how patterns of corporate crime evolve in response to technological innovation and changes in emerging industries. In cases involving embezzlement by employees, misappropriation of funds, infringement of trade secrets, insider trading, money laundering, and other corporate-related offenses, Mr. Li is skilled at closely analyzing both the objective and subjective elements of the alleged offense, the technical characteristics involved, and the legal nature of relevant fund flows. Through careful and layered analysis, he seeks to identify grounds for excluding or limiting criminal liability, provide effective defense at a high professional standard, and protect the lawful rights and interests of his clients.
Education
Mr. Li graduated from Peking University School of Transnational Law, where he earned a Juris Master degree.
